As a company renowned for delivering next-generation solutions to customers globally, we are looking to recruit our next generation of talent to ensure our clients continue to stay ahead of the game.

A row of graduates

Working at the forefront of innovation, we expect a lot from our graduate training scheme members – be it the competence and creativity to code complex computer models or the enterprise to exploit existing technologies.

These attributes should also be complemented by strong communication skills and a promising educational pedigree, typically a 2:1 degree or higher in a scientific subject from a leading university.

While we set the bar high, NSC’s graduate training scheme is evidence of our commitment to embrace and expand the bright ideas and minds of those who come to work for us.

As part of the permanent contract offered to successful candidates, the two-year initiative will expose you to a wide range of projects and the different roles that combine to deliver our world-class solutions.

With a dedicated line manager, mentor and buddy on hand to provide guidance, subject matter expertise and informal support, you will benefit from between 10 and 20 days of formal training each year.

Provided in addition to allocated time for “on the job” learning, this training will be tailored to suit your needs and development goals and encompass everything from software design and programming to requirements management and commercial awareness.

We will also help to hone your technical competencies and assist you in achieving Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer accreditation.

If a move towards project management appeals, we will give you the chance to experience this field and support you in attaining the APM Project Management Qualification.

NSC has built up an extensive network of qualified and experienced people in a variety of disciplines

NSC’s investment in your professional development will not end on completion of the graduate training scheme.

We offer an enduring commitment to training and sponsorship for professional certifications and qualifications, and will continually encourage you to explore novel concepts.

During our annual innovation day, you will be given the opportunity to make use of company time and resources to explore everything from how emerging technologies could be incorporated into existing products to means of streamlining business practices.

If this commitment to innovative thinking and professional development appeals, send a copy of your CV and contact details to jobs@nsc.co.uk
