CONTACT-education & analysis provides a desktop
analysis and education tool that allows an individual
or small group of users to trial tactics and procedures
on personally created scenarios using the capabilities inherent in the CONTACT suite.

   The tool is equally applicable to students, operational planning staff, and doctrine development teams as it allows simple courses of action to be rapidly assessed. The simulation can be fully time-managed allowing the user to fast forward and pause to control the tempo of the experiment; for example, this allows the simulation to be paused to allow and encourage syndicate discussion, or fast-forwarded through a routine task. Each assessment / experiment can be recorded and archived for subsequent in-depth analysis and scrutiny.
 
   

 

  


The multi-user features of CONTACT are utilised in CONTACT-education & analysis allowing students to establish ad-hoc networks (including over wireless infrastructure) to execute scenarios in either a single or multi-user context.

CONTACT-education & analysis has a low IT footprint, and will run on most laptop PCs; it has a simple and intuitive user interface.

CONTACT-education & analysis is currently in service at the UK Defence Academy at Shrivenham.
