Technical Consultancy

NSC has provided technical consultancy over the past 20 years working for a variety of UK and overseas research establishments in the defence domain. We currently provide expertise to an international customer base including the UK MoD, Dstl, NATO NC3A, US DoD and NATO JWC.

Our experience spans all aspects of the study life-cycle, with the provision of operational analysts, project managers, technical leaders, military consultants, software and tool developers, wargamers and subject matter experts.

Operational Analysis (OA) experience includes study design through scenario development, results analysis and production and presentation of reports and recommendations covering a wide range of defence related problems.

Linked with the NSC training and simulation capability, Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Modelling Support are core NSC skills. As a result of our experience in the development of combat simulations and wargames, we also have extensive domain knowledge in military concepts and doctrine for single service and joint operations in general and PSO, Asymmetric Warfare, Non-kinetic effects, Urban Operations, Command and Staff Training in particular.
